I just wish I had plenty of turkeys to hunt. It appears we only have one staying on the three properties I have to hunt.

I don't have a shooter on cam just some nice deer for my wife and son. My big deer won't show up till December. Went back to public this year so I'm not expecting much except rut at the house.

I've still got plenty of acorns with or without them. I may remove the red oak and leave the water. My shooting house has 5 or 6 big white oaks and probably the same amount of water and reds around it. I didn't murder my property like most do. Out of 40 acres I still have 20 in hardwood mix.

Since it's in the middle of the plot it gets fertilized several time a year and got a good dose of lime this summer.
