You'd think, at some point, the admin would say, "you know we're recruiting a bunch dumbass worthless street punks and then we're hiring dumbass worthless coaches. Perhaps we ought to try a different strategy".

Re: Thread Killer

Ive got a M77 308 top tang. When I first got it, I discovered a serious safety problem. When the safety was shifted off it would randomly fire. Not every time, but occasionally. It was enough to make me scared of it, even though I always point my guns in a safe direction. I took it to a qualified gu...

Yep. That's typical September weather, hot and dry.
I won't even begin planting until the 2nd week of October.
I've already sprayed them all so they're ready to turn over, but no planting for a few more weeks yet.

Re: Planting plots.

So far this has been an unusual September. Actually August and September have seen more rain and milder Temps than usual. I hope it's an indication that winter will be colder and perhaps we'll see an actual winter this year.

Fried = vomit.

Re: Planting plots.

Whip Most of my plots have always been like hay. Just do it when I can. 🤣🤣 And that's always a major factor in the schedule as well. I'm spraying the plots now, as I get time. I'll go to bushogging, and some control burns, through September (as I get time) and hopefully be ready to plant in October ...

Re: Planting plots.

I'll plant mine at the house around the middle of October. Took me several years and many dollars to learn this lesson. But September is NOT a planting month. September is almost always dry and hot. I'm pretty stubborn, so I learn slow, but eventually I migrated to a midOctober planting and I final...

I can hardly stomach anything fried..... Yuk!! Fried meat is not even edible. Fried potatoes are somewhat tolerable. Fried vegetables aren't awful, but certainly not something I'd look forward to. I've often wondered who was the first person who thought, "hey let's take this perfectly good food item...

You can Google "how to keep live bait" and there's literally dozens of videos. Most importantly is fresh water and aerating. Obviously a food source but you use Crackers or store bought fish food

I'll take $1200 for my 1986 model 700 ADL 308. Or $2000 with the Meostar scope. It's already custom built. Timney trigger, bedded action, floated barrel, 0.50 moa. Price seems to be on par with others 👍 According to the prices that people are paying for old guns and old trucks, these days, I should...

I think I have one of those. It's light enough I can lift it with one hand, but heavy enough to knock a hole in a truck.
