Re: Looking at getting in
You’d be better off buying a kit made by RCBS and start that way All the used stuff out there is so expensive you’re so close to new price it’s crazy not to buy new Buy new books with the latest load data for newer bullets too Many of the older books have outdated info and list powders that are no ...

Re: Looking at getting in
Can’t go wrong with a Rock Chucker With those cartridges you’ve named I’d say you need 2 or 3 different powders IMR 4064 Varget IMR 4350 The RCBS dies are good You’ll need the books that coincide with the brand bullets you’ll be shooting….Sierra/Nosler/Hornady Nothing more pleasing to see a sub .5”...

Re: Black Yote on the Trail ...
I’ve killed 5-6 of them over the last 10 years on the farm. They stand out in the pastures a lot more than regular color ones do.

Re: WTB: CVA Wolf muzzleloader stainless strata camo
Good luck on finding one. I had a stainless wolf years ago and sold it. I wish I still had it. 150 yards it was a killer, I’d stretched it out to 200 if had the opportunity.

Rub???
I found this on choccolocco yesterday, I found some smaller rubs and a scrape line on an old wagon road bed. And this tree was on the same line with what looked to me like gouge marks. What say y’all? Deer rub or maybe a bear scratching?? I think it’s a buck rub, but I wanted y’all expert advice. 😁😁...

Re: Getting ready
All we've done is bush hog and get some feeders going. I'm not sure if we'll get a good rain this month to go plant. We may just run the feeders and let the fields sit if we don't have some good rains pop up in the forecast It’s your place so do what your want. But plant your plots when you want to...

Re: 2023/2024 Archery Kill Thread
I’m set up in a white oak. Got a lot of honey bees 10’ above me swarming around. Ole blackface hornet comes through every so often at mach 90. Skeeters ate kicking my ass too. What good is a thermocell if u just leave it at home?

Re: Pretty fish
I’ve always liked Tallapoosa River fish in cold water, The meat on cold water fish is firmer than a fish caught in sauna water. Fish caught in warm water are almost mushy right off the hook. I never was one to even bream fish after mid-May due to water temp being so warm. Yea, October through May i...
