You can tell they walked in front of the camera well before being captured but those are the only pics I got of them.

Trigger speed is fine but if a deer walks from almost directly in front toward the cam it has issues.

Does it have a sensitivity setting? Or the sensor guard could have a scratch right in the middle of it...and it's not reading at 90°.... Sounds a little screwy either way....

The new ones can send in 45sec so I may change my settings this weekend.

I think that they may have a 'sleep mode' after a certain length of inactivity. It has to 'wake up' and initialize before triggering pic.
I have noticed the same thing.

I've noticed missed pics with my Coverts. I don't have those issues with my Reconyx cameras, though.

I usually don't either but reconyx doesn't have the cellular service cams yet that I know of. Honestly I couldn't afford one of their cell cams as high as their regular cams are. I do love my reconyx I just need to send it back to have the daytime lens fixed.
