What's the longest you've ever sat and still killed a deer?

Longest sit

Postby BCLC » Thu Sep 07, 2017 10:02 pm

During the rut I've sat daylight to dark and killed one right at last light several times. I couldn't do it now. That was back in my prime with a 6pk of 5-hr energy shots, giant thermos of coffee, MRE's and a pint of JD to keep the edge off.

I've also set daylight to dark and killed at last light. I don't do it very often but when the rut is on its hard to leave the stand.

My knee can't take it. Those cadaver ligaments don't do well after abt 3-4hrs sitting still.

I know what you mean BCLC. I've got them too. Hard to just get where I'm going sometimes.

I used to hunt in the morning a lot. I would go in an hour before light and fire at noon a lot of times... Now I like to hunt evenings. On a full moon I like to go in around 9 a.m. and sometimes sit till dark.
Hell I cant remember any much anymore. LOL
