No we didn't bud. Guessing around 160. He was a old declining deer for sure. Bet he was a stud in his day

He had some pedicle damage when he was young and it was so bad it resulted in a skull fracture
He looked like this for 4 years and I’ve hunted him for 3 years

I killed one this morning. 7 point. Weighed just over 170 pounds.

First shot I’ve fired in 3 years.

I’m still shocked I was able to drag the deer out and load it into the truck by myself without gutting it. That’s my proud accomplishment for the day. I still got some strength left in me.
