Killed a doe while I was waiting on the tractor to warm up this morning on the farm. 200 yards with my old BAR .270 with 140 grain Nosler BT. She sprayed blood everywhere for 30 yards. Hit her in the heart dang it. The heart is my favorite piece to eat. Knocked the guts out of her and had her skint out in just a little while. No fancy knives just my ole German eye, done it all with it. She had a hole and puss coming out of the side of her head like she’s been shot with a .22 but meat looked good so she’s going in the freezer.
