Northern Randolph county

Post by daniel white »

I know a few of y’all hunt around delta. I’m 10 miles at the most from there. The bucks at my house are getting close to busting off. The next two weeks they should be looking for ladies. They been in there feet cruising some the last few days. I got two good bucks and 4-5 smaller ones on the farm. They all been on there feet, a lot of daylight pics of the younger bucks but not the two bigger ones. And got one new decent buck that showed up last night. Another week or so and it’ll be right I think. Last 5 years me or my wife has killed a good buck the first two weeks of January sometime.

I’ve had a doe and 2 fawns out in the yard feeder for weeks. This morning the momma doe was the only one there.

She may have run them off getting ready. Been watching her through the scope and her hocks are a little dark. Shouldn’t be long.

Had a spike trying to push a doe this afternoon in the pasture behind the house.
