Rhoad Island White (we have three and they have been laying for about a year and a half)sdw wrote:That looks great rutabaga! What kind of chickens laid those eggs?
Brown Leghorns (we have three and they have been laying for about a year and a half)
These two breeds are moderate at best layers. However I have taken steps to jump start our egg production. I have added another eleven chickens. They were 13 +/- weeks old when I got them and they should all be laying sometime in August..
