A country boy can survive

Our neighbor and friend called last night and said we could come pick his garden if we wanted to. Wife and I started picking at 5:55 this morning. Temp was not bad but really humid.

This neighbor is an excellent gardener. He has a huge garden every year, after he and his son’s family get what they want he lets other people pick. My wife and I are #1 after him and his family. We have been doing this for years and always enjoy it. We could have gotten more, but we knew other people were wanting to pick. He told us to come back anytime, no need to call ahead. Sure is nice to live in the county and have great neighbors.
