Man I love a good cold watermelon, just bought two reds and a yellow meat. My chickens get the rinds (sp) and they love it. We have probably eaten 10+/- this year and will be eating them till they are out of season. We got any melon fans on here.

Yessir!!! Wife and I both love a good watermelon. I prefer a yellow meated one and my wife likes the red ones. I also like mine with a dash of salt....any of y'all like salt on watermelon?

I like the salt, wife doesn't.

Hell yeah, I love a cold, salty red watermelon.

Well chit, I have had a bad run on the melons. I been around the block a few times and let me tell you young guns something, if you split it and it is pink, give it to the chickens (now we are only talking water melons here)

Finally found some good melons. A couple of young ladies have been parking at our local store selling late watermelons for $3.00 a piece. Between my wife and I, we have bought seven over the last couple weeks, all seven were sweet and tasty.

I really thought this was going to get interesting when I read the beginning.

One of those young ladies was sporting a pair of fine melons, she was the number one seller.
