I'm sitting here this morning studying a glaring example of "majority rule" and how backwards it can be from justice.
I don't share some of the same answers to the more complicated questions that Chuck Swindoll accepts, but we certainly agree that majority rule is not justice. Imagine being perfectly innocent but being condemned to be tortured and killed anyhow for the crimes others have committed.
Put yourself in the shoes of the guilty man as you watch your sentence being carried out on an innocent man as you take a little time from celebrating drunkenness and debauchery to listen to this lesson this morning. You're only cheating yourself if you don't ...
