I’ve got a new Lyman All American I’m setting up on my bench. Midway had them on sale last week.

I ain’t never done any reloading myself, but have been around it and helped my buddies over the years. But I’m slowly putting together some equipment as we speak.

Guys I’ve known who reloaded had a couple things in common. They don’t have a house full of kids running around and are pretty well established. I am neither lol. Good deal picking up pieces here and there. I’d like to get into a few calibers I own.

That’s what I did. Just picked up stuff on sale when I had the money for years. Had a buddy from Alaska teach me the ropes.

Over the weekend I measured the chamber on 3 of my rifles so I know how much the brass can grow regardless of what the books say. Then I measured from the ojive of a SMK 69 grain bullet to the lands so I can experiment a little with a couple of my latest loads. One of my best groups has the bullet seated at .027 off the lands and that's just a load to SAMMI specs that happened to be damn good. I'm gonna load 3 with a .020 jump and 3 at .010 to see if either one tightens the group.
