Too close Tom

This morning I went to the south side of my club where I bumped A gobbler yesterday. I didn't hear or see anything.
At about 10 o'clock I went to another pretty spot I like to go to, and have called up turkeys in the past. I sat down and looked at my watch, it was 10:30 (est).... I clucked a few times on the box call and give a series of yelps and sat it down beside me...After about 5 minutes or so, I hit the slate with A loud series of yelps, and I sat it down beside me also. The wind was blowing pretty hard, and I didn't hear nothing... I could not hardly keep my eyes open. The last three days of hunting was catching up with me. I dosed off several times. On one of the times that I opened my eyes, I caught movement! It was A red head, close and coming closer! By the time I got the bead on his head, he was inside 20 yards! I pulled the trigger at 15 and the Longbeards nocked him to the ground where he lay motionless for A few seconds, then he began flopping!... I couldn't believe my luck!
Anyway, That's the way it happened, and I know I'm very lucky to kill the too close Tom!
