Are hammering....stepped out on my back deck bout 545 and listened to 3 different birds gobble for 20 minutes..... Im glad season opens up next weekend for me....

I’ve heard one in the last week. Saw some pictures of some last week that still had grey heads , but were lone gobblers, so it’s close.
I think I’m going to try to kill a couple this year. We have birds everywhere and haven’t had many in the last 2 years.

I’m going to go some this year. I haven’t hunted turkeys in 2 years but my boy is wanting to go. We got some little.410 Turkey guns for Christmas and we gonna try and get it done with those. I am planning on taking him next weekend for the youth hunt. If he’s lucky enough to get one I might just change my mind and crappie fish instead the rest of the season and trap coons and possums.
