I got the 45 performance version with the ported bbl. only hold 7 rds but I got an extended magazine for 9. It's one of the best shooters I have. super light. but those striker fired with no safety make me nervous for daily carry.

I hear you, not disagreeing at all. It is the most reactive and best response time, I understand. I just can't seem to make the tradeoff between that and a double action external hammer. The time it takes me to pull a double action and squeeze one off and the striker fired isn't really worth me pissing away the internal hammer no safety and sending a round where I don't want it. just risk management I suppose.
