Colt Model 1901 Army DA .38 Long Colt (not .38 Special). Made toward the end of 1901, it has a six inch blued barrel and Walnut grips. Has the lanyard hasp at the butt of the grip with the date stamp and serial number (177205)on the butt plate. This pistol also comes with the original leather holster. This pistol is in usable condition with normal wear on the blueing. Works perfectly in single action and tries to push the hammer in double action but can't quite get enough grip on the mechanism to cycle the hammer. I expect it needs to be cleaned internally and I will not attempt to take it apart, as it is in it's original condition. Looking to trade only. Prefer lever rifles or modern handguns.
