Me and Mack hit the river this weekend. Thursday afternoon I was at the farm pond behind the house and got in a bed of blue gill. Caught 20 of em in about hours time. I put em in my bait well tank and decided which ever ones didn’t live by Friday night, I’d eat em, and the ones that did live I’d use em for bait for some limb lines. We set out 15 limb lines and 15 noodles/jugs. Friday night didn’t fair so well, caught 4-5 blue cats about 15-20lb. Fished most of the day for 30 more bream Saturday. Re baited about dark. Come Sunday morning about daylight we started checking lines again. Man did they feed up, we had fish on about every line. We wore them jokers out. Got 3 yellow cats which is what we was wanting. But we throwed back over 10 blue cats, they was from 18lb to 31lb. We weighed most of em. But kept a few for the freezer too. Had a couple channel cats, in the mix too.

Nice! Father n Law n them been up at Camp since last Friday they've caught little over 675 pounds of Cats (few hundred brim too) so far, but that just turns into work I went up Sunday and came home yesterday evening cause weather gonna turn to crap...
