Anyone know where I can get a hub pressed into a prop in the Bham area? Gotta prop last year and it has the wrong hub....so it won't work until I can get the correct hub.....

It is....it just has to go under a press and be pushed out.... they are built that way so you can replace $40-$70 hub rather than a $300+ prop....if you hit something.....

I knew some could be changed. Some have the rubber bushing vulcanized to the prop. I'll see if I can find someone.

I'd try J & J Marine in Hueytown and Stuckey's Marine in Mulga if it were me. If they can't do it, you may be able to drop by Barron Machine & Fab in Fairfield or somewhere similar and get them to do it. I know Barron has a press that will do anything you would ever need done. I'll try to check with J & J and Stuckey's when (IF) I get a free moment at work today. Or you can give them a call. I know J & J won't touch my Mercury 20hp because it's "too old" according to them. Stuckey's has done some work for me but I've never had prop work done.

They prolly scared they'll break that plastic prop that you use on your Legoland boat.

Mike over at Stuckey's said - "If it's the new style square hub we can. If it's the old style rubber hub we have to send those out and have them done."
