20hp outboard

Post by sdw »

I'm thinking about replacing my '74 mercury with a new(er) 4 stroke. It's on a 14ft Jon boat. Are the smaller hondas worth the extra money? Anyone have any recommendations on 20hp motors?

I've never owned a Honda outboard... But I know a couple of people who have them on their pontoon boats and love the hell out of em..... They are bigger motors of course.... But it shouldn't change anything IMO.....

I have a Honda four stroke on my deck boat. I have never had any problems with it but I have heard of some problems from other people. I would buy another one. I think that the Yamaha may be a better outboard though.
