Decided to go fishing this morning and got to the launch and looked around and there was the warden. Chit chatted for a few minutes and on I go. I idle around to my first stop and start to deploy my tolling motor and notice that something doesn’t look right with the propeller. Oh how I hate to loose a nut! The nut and the pin that keeps the propeller spinning with the shaft was missing. Thank goodness I still have the propeller. I thought the trip was ruined for sure and for the most part was for where I wanted to fish but I got lucky in my tying up to stumps and running the bow up into the weeds to somewhat anchor my boat so I could fish tree tops backwards from my normal way paid off with a half limit. Got 16 keepers and one bream.
