Anybody here have one? If so, how do you like it? Pros and cons? Does it meet the sub MOA guarantee they have?

I got 2 of 'em at the moment. One is a 1978 Deluxe model in 270WBYMag and the other is a synthetic/stainless in 257WBYMag from early 2000's. They can both shoot more accurately than the fella squeezing the trigger. I've prob owned a dozen or more but I'll never get rid of these 2. I've also got a Howa 1500 in 300WinMag that's same action & barrel as Vanguard and it's just as reliable and accurate as the rest of them I've owned. The biggest negative is how expensive Weatherby magnum factory ammo is unless you buy one in standard calibers.

I was looking in 25-06 so I can avoid weatherby ammo. I know 300 mag weatherby is around $80-90 a box. Too much for me.

I have a Vanguard in .270 that has never been fired so I have no idea how it shoots. I also have a mark v stainless with fluted barrel and muzzle break in .300 weatherby mag. That is very accurate but I rarely ever use it anymore because of cost.

Both are taking up space and both with never be sold unless times get really bad! I inherited them from my pawpaw and I have some fond memories of several guns other than these that are not all that valuable but They were owned by the man who taught me how to hunt period!
