We might have discussed this in the past, but I am old.
Jiffy cornbread. OK, let me have it, especially from the young guns that would not know a pone of old timey cornbread if it slapped you in your face. Also, no sugar added in my Jiffy, it has just enough already.

I think me and YELLOW CREEK talked about it a time or two.  nothing wrong with Jiffy cornbread...my wife makes it from time to time. I personally like Martha White buttermilk cornbread mix cooked in a cast iron skillet in the oven and served hot with lots of butter. I just don't care for sweet tasting cornbread.

These days I'll take any cornbread I can get. When my granny died, real cornbread died with her. I don't add any sugar but I like a glass of whole sweet milk to go with it. Mmmmm
