I used the peroxide on one years ago and it still flaking. Must of left it on too long.

I boiled with liquid peroxide and ivory which was not supposed to discolor the horns.. on my last try... but it did a little... added according by the bone color and the fat changing the water once. The wife complained the whole time about the smell, she got a nose like bloodhood. I should not have done it on the back porch but I did get a sense of enjoyment out of it ...... :smile:

Correction..it was not a rolling boil but more like tiny bubbles....

Yea first one I tried, it was in the kitchen. That went over like a turd in the punch bowl. Wife was gone, I'd been dranking, she got pissed.
:D Sometimes when I'm home alone I beat it like it owes me money :D

There you go.... I did not have the balls for the kitchen...my wife cooks like my grandma....so i respect that it is her house.... :rolling:

Little goes a long way... too much peroxide and boiling will break the skull down...
