Looking for a 2011-2014 Tacoma or Tundra Doublecab
I'm in the market for a 2011-2014 Toyota Tacoma or Tundra Doublecab 4x4. What y'all got?
The older I get the more I understand why roosters just scream to start their day.

Whew, good luck.

Yeah, CAL, the Tundras are out there and plenty of 'em. Gas mileage has almost completely scared me away though. Tacomas are fewer and expensive.

I bought a 2012 Tundra a few months ago. I've driven diesels for 15 years. I absolutely love the truck. I've never been in a half ton truck with a much towing power. I pulled a 31' camper up Atalla mountain at 68 mph and didn't lose any speed, on Tuesday. The gas mileage is AWFUL, but I'll take the trade off.

That 5.7 got some power for sure. I may end up in one in the end. I talked to the body shop today and the damage to my Tacoma comes to $8898. Expecting State Farm to total it Monday.Klay wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 9:07 amI bought a 2012 Tundra a few months ago. I've driven diesels for 15 years. I absolutely love the truck. The 5.7 comes with a 4:30 gearing. And a 38 gallon gas tank so you can brag about getting 400 miles or so to the tank.
New, my 2017 got 12.2mpg and settled down at 14.8mpg. It has 25,216 miles right now, so it MIGHT not have peaked yet.
Not sure what other guys are getting in the mpg department.
